Meredith Olafson, Surrogate, Has Given Birth To 15 Babies

Forty-seven-year-old Meredith Olafson, of North Dakota, gave birth to her 15th baby on March 29th. But don't chalk her up to Duggar status just yet -- she only has four kids of her own and has been a surrogate six times. The so-called "super surrogate" has delivered two sets of triplets, a set of twins, and three single babies for other families, Jezebel reports.

Olafson announced on the "Today" show yesterday that she is officially "retiring" her uterus.

Prayer need: Surrogate mother being pressured by parents to abort baby with cleft lip/palate

Earlier today I was sent a link to a blog of a woman named “Ashley” who is acting as a surrogate mother. She says she is around 20 weeks pregnant with the child of another couple, and recently found out that the child suffers from some abnormalities.

What those abnormalities are Ashley herself did not say, but the person who forwarded the link to me said it was cleft lip and palate – a minor condition that can be surgically remedied after birth.

An enterprising Olga got profit from a child twice: the first time having agreed to become a surrogate mother for rent. The second time, having convinced a rich Spaniard that it was his son, he believed and got married to her. Biological parents were in despair. Their boy was left with a woman who they had chosen to be the incubator!
While telling their story a couple Vadim and Oksana were noticeably nervous. A year has passed but they can’t come to their senses yet. Their long-awaited baby is growing somewhere in a foreign country. And the parents can’t even have a look at him!
A 40- year old Vadim and a 32-year old Oksana were dreaming about a child for many years. What only the spouses were not doing: undergoing through treatment both abroad and in the best clinics in Russia – everything in vain. In one of the hospitals they were advised to find a surrogate mother.
